Course Description
Many years ago I implemented the first generation iPads into my classroom. This eventuated into a journey of whole class use, individualisation and then sharing that experience with other educators. I wrote my first iPad course in 2011 and, ten years on, it’s worth re-examining the use of iPads in the classroom.
Tablets (or any other tool for that matter) are NOT meant to replace GOOD teaching and evidence based practice, so this course looks at what the research is saying, what is evidence-based practice, and provides strategies for appropriate use.
This course will refer to apps but the focus will be on effective educational use of the device rather than an examination of a range of apps.
Audience
All educators interested in implementing iPads in their classroom.
