Course Description
The iPad technology has extraordinary implications for education and its design, functionality and capabilities enhances the possibility of a technology-based classroom.
This is a beginner’s course for anyone who has a minimal knowledge as to how to use an iPad. The course will cover lesson and curriculum content, but will also provide instruction on how to use the Settings section and hidden uses of the iPad.
This PD will focus on:
- iPads and how they work
- Applications – how they fit into The Australian Curriculum & learning outcomes.
- Assessment
- What can an iPad based classroom look like?
- What do students think?
This PD will provide hands on experiences and ideas for use when you return to your classroom.
Audience
This course is suitable for teachers and support workers in Primary, Secondary and Special Education. Please note this is a beginner's course only!
