Paul Teys

Dr Paul Teys began his career in education as a Maths & Physics teacher way back in the 1980s at Fairholme College in Toowoomba, QLD. His leadership journey saw him as a Head of Science, Head of Curriculum, Head of Secondary, Deputy Principal and Principal spanning more than 40 years. He was a principal in four schools and three states over more than 20 years. Now he works in his own consulting business, developing the next generation of leaders and principals.

Paul's thesis for the award of a Doctor of Education was Leading large, P-12, autonomous, independent schools: An Australian case study. His book, So You Want to Be a Principal, is published by Amba Press.
