Course Description

Chris has spent many years researching why children could not remember the high-frequency words, even after many years of practice.

This is a multi-sensory, developmental spelling program, that teaches the high-frequency words for spelling, with meaning and in context (not just memory):

  1. the student listens to the most common phonemes

  2. says the phonemes

  3. writes the graphemes that makes these phonemes

  4. reads the grapheme making these phonemes

Once a student knows the phonemes/graphemes, words using the phonemes are explicitly taught with any strategies to help their understanding.

Children succeed and become Independent Spelling Stars from Foundation.
