iPads - Changing the Way We Do Education
This course was a useful introduction to using iPads in the classroom. I found the presentation of numerous apps, together with examples of the possible use in the classroom, very helpful. It gave me lots of ideas for my own lessons. The concept of flip teaching was also touched on. The course is especially geared to classrooms where every student has their own iPad. Although this is not the case in my school, I have still come away with skills and knowledge to improve use of technology resources in my programmes.
iPads - Changing the Way We Do Education
It was a good course to start working on apps for iPads. It gave me more confidence in using it in the classroom.

iPads - Changing the Way We Do Education
This is a good course for both beginners and those already familiar with using iPads in the classroom. The tasks greatly improved my skills and made me consider new ways of using iPads in the classroom. The detailed information about different Apps available is useful and time saving.
Ipads - Changing the Way We Do Education
It was very engaging and a huge resource for me to implement.
Ipads - Changing the Way We Do Education
Although it was promoted as a beginner’s course, I found it quite challenging as a certain amount of prior knowledge was expected. For example, I was asked to upload work on to Facebook and I had no idea how to do that. I found submitting the ‘Show Me’ activity particularly difficult. I didn’t even know that I had to go into Safari to get into Google. I was constantly asking my colleagues ‘how do I do this’ and ‘how do I do that’. I felt quite stressed at times but Karina was helpful and very prompt in answering my queries.
Ipads - Changing the Way We Do Education
I found this course excellent. It got me motivated into using apps on iPad and introducing them into our classroom.
Ipads - Changing the Way We Do Education
I really enjoyed this course. When I started the course I had very basic knowledge of the ipad and had used some simple literacy and numeracy apps that involved ‘fill in the gaps’ or listen to the letter sound. This course let me know that there is so much more that the ipad can do. It can really allow the students to express themselves and their knowledge/understanding, rather than just ‘tell me’, The suggested apps were fantastic. I had no idea that there were so many different apps to engage students in literacy and numeracy. I really look forward to exploring and using these apps in the classroom. Thankyou for a great course.
