I have come away with great ideas — a lot of information and ideas given. Good that some was interactive. Other attendees were good to meet too. Enjoyed the activities.

Good for writing for English — I did not realise it would be quite so focused on creative writing and English skills. There are only a few things I’ll realistically be able to use in my classroom.

Good to hear some ideas to engage boys in writing. However think it is more relevant to 7-12 and not year 5 and 6. Many of the activities not appropriate for younger grades.

This course reminded me of things to do, but didn’t ‘teach’ me any new things. Maybe a little more in your advertisement!

Great breakdown of key concepts backed by evidence based practice. Found a few examples overly stereotypical, but still willing to give them a go in my classroom. Thanks for an interesting and engaging presentation!

Good to see specific strategies that could be utilised in the class. Covers non-fiction writing well, however, would have liked to have seen more strategies for creative writing.
