Some relevant and innovative ideas that I will certainly use in the classroom.

Engaging Boys in Writing - Ron Thomas

Good for writing for English — I did not realise it would be quite so focused on creative writing and English skills. There are only a few things I’ll realistically be able to use in my classroom.

Good to hear some ideas to engage boys in writing. However think it is more relevant to 7-12 and not year 5 and 6. Many of the activities not appropriate for younger grades.
