This was thorough, explicit and the skills and resources were highly relevant to the syllabus outcomes. This was a thorough course with explicit activities. All information was displayed clearly and the examples and samples were well chosen and highly relevant to the syllabus.

I found the course quite relevant as our next task in my HSC Advanced English class is to revise the ‘Human Experiences’ module. Some of the suggestions, protocols and resources supplied will be extremely useful. For example I perhaps need to more closely reference the outcomes and performance descriptors of the course and not just the rubric, as I have been doing.. The LPSTARC protocol would be useful in analysing any text, not just the sample texts for Section One of the exam.

This was an excellent course! So well laid out, with fantastic explanations and examples to guide me. As a newer teacher it was a tremendous help as I am still learning how to mark confidently – this has given me the tools I need to be able to do so. What a course! As a newer teacher, this course has given me the confidence and skills to mark English HSC courses. Building on what I already knew, the activities were relevant and the resources were extremely helpful!
