Informative, fresh, interesting. Ideas discussed were relevant to my teaching practice. Janet was engaging.
Very informative with good artworks to talk about. Would have liked more practical applications. Too much content talking on artworks, not enough on how to plan and structure units, lessons, programs. More structure specifics and target year groups. Great resources to take back to school.
Course was thorough, informative and presented in an engaging manner.
Superb. Very interesting and informative. Great ideas and ways to integrate art criticism/history into the classroom and enhance practical activities, building a deeper understanding of the art world. Janet is very engaging and enigmatic.
Very knowledgeable in art and history. Created great links. Resources were handy. Presented a different way of approaching content in a fun and interesting way.
Excellent information. Engaging. A little overwhelming but very informative and inspiring.
Janet was excellent – very informative and knowledgeable. Her suggestions for constructing programs are really grounded in contemporary thinking coupled with a very practical understanding of how young people learn.
Great resources. Enthusiastic, thoroughly knowledgeable presenter.
Excellent overview of Art History Theory.
Content and information rich. All very valuable.
Janet is an incredibly knowledgeable and passionate presenter. I really am lacking at how I deliver content in my classroom. Thanks Janet!
Janet’s passionate nature towards the content made the course interesting and engaging.
Informative, interesting and practical.
Amazing breadth of information but way too fast for me!
Janet is so knowledgeable and experienced. Loved it.
Fantastic detail and analysis of artworks as they are informed by medium and history.
Presenters knowledge is excellent and in depth. Excellent. Included images for discussion. Scripts to outline on website. Poor: Ideas for teaching theory in an ---way was limited / poor for going back to school with new ideas that relate to teenagers. Need another approach rather than lectures as that doesn’t demonstrate other creative ideas for teacher. Notes don’t link to PowerPoint. Many missing.
Nice overlay of concepts, grand theory with anecdotes on students.
Presented with a lot of engaging strategies to use in the classroom. Looking forward to using the strategies in theory lessons.
Extremely knowledgeable and engaging.
