This one day workshop gives participants a chance to explore and apply a range of ideas for engaging students in performance and composition activities. The workshop is presented by Brad Fuller and Peter Orenstein from the Sydney Centre for Innovation in Learning at Northern Beaches Christian School with product specialists from Ableton and Native Instruments.

The ideas include:
Using Ableton Live 10 in Performance
Using control surfaces such as Push, Launchpad and Roli Blocks in performance
Using Virtual Instruments in performance and composition
Using Virtual Amplifiers and effects in performance and composition
Using Ableton Live 10 as a recording studio (DAW)

Following on from knowledge generated in Sessions 1 & 2, participants will have the opportunity to workshop the solutions presented and discuss potential applications in their own settings in a ‘hands on’ workshop.

Convinced that I.T. could revolutionise education, Brad Fuller began presenting I.T. seminars for teachers in 2000 leading to his current PhD study in Blended Learning at Sydney University. Brad holds an MA in Adult Education and an ASG National Excellence in Teaching Award. Alongside presenting courses with TTA, Brad is an associate of the Sydney Centre for Innovative Learning and Director of Music at Northern Beaches Christian School.
