This course is targeted at teachers interested in seeking AITSL Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher certification.

The opening part of this session looks at what constitutes quality evidence for use in the application for certification process. Examples of evidence will be presented and discussed.
A number of essential and effective processes used to collect quality evidence will then be outlined.

Participants will be stepped through a number of targeted strategies which will aid in the development of their Stage 1 application for certification.
Participants need only bring something on which to take notes. All other resources will be provided.

Matthew is a charismatic speaker and an inspirational academic leader. In recent years Matthew has developed a reputation as a Learning Environment Researcher. He has been and is currently working in collaboration with Curtin University.
Matthew specialises in the areas of coaching, observation and feedback. He is the only teacher on the AITSL Teacher Expert Standing Committee. Having received certification as an AITSL Lead Teacher in 2014 he was until recently the only Lead Teacher in South Australia in the private sector.
