General Description

We all know teaching can be demanding and stressful. What if you had the tools to better manage your own wellbeing and teach this to others? As educators, we have the capacity to have a major influence on the thoughts, behaviours and attitudes of others. Imagine having a toolbox of coaching psychology strategies to maximise this influence and help both staff and students take responsibility for their own wellbeing as well as better manage it so they can flourish. In this course, we share evidence based coaching strategies and explore the research behind positive psychology and Seligman’s PERMA model of wellbeing. We look at the place of coaching in education and how it can provide us with clarity, direction and structure in empowering others. Participants will leave this course with a greater understanding of human behavior, solution focused strategies to inspire productive & harmonious work environments as well as specific tools to begin using back at school immediately.
