The Flip it course was engaging and practical course for teachers of any subject. I found that the online format was extremely beneficial as you could manipulate resources in real time, use them and then make any alteration or get support when you were stuck straight away. Meaning that all these great ideas have already been put into practice in the classroom, rather than waiting for the next time you teach something.

I learned some valuable tools that I will integrate into my teaching. I didn’t think that it was necessary to have to contribute to the forum or have to reply to others comments. I didn’t feel the benefit of this and it added to the already lengthy time of the course.

This is a great online course for those new to the idea of a flipped classroom. This course is set out clearly with different modules, which should be completed over a series of weeks. I found screencasting, PowerPoint and flashcards very useful. I am looking forward to explaining flashcards to students in my classes as I feel it will help them greatly when studying for exams. I have already shared my Geography screencasting presentations with my students and they found it helpful when studying.
