Neil Kusi-Appauh

I am passionate about teaching.

Neil has degrees in (Science) Psychology and Economics, a Diploma of Education and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. He is currently Head Teacher Social Science at Five Islands Secondary College and works as a Masters of Education HSIE methods lecturer for Wollongong University. He has extensive experience as a HSC marker in Business Studies and Society and Culture as well as serving as SOM and Senior Marker in Legal Studies, was a member of the Legal Studies syllabus writing team, runs HSC student lectures teacher seminars and has authored Preliminary and HSC texts.

The course was exceptional. There were lots of great, helpful resources and applications of resources shard and discussed. The detail was pertinent and engaging. Best PD for Legal Studies I’ve done! Seriously! It was really encouraging and informative.

A very useful course for new teachers. Great presenter- having an experienced teacher with practical tips and advice are excellent. Having resources already emailed from TTA before the day would be useful.

The course gave an awesome basic look at the requirements and structure of the course. Sometimes the pace of the course was slowed down by questions. It would be good to have an example of a PIP and have a break down of the important components.
