Working mainly as a casual secondary teacher, I do not get many regular opportunities to teach Visual Arts, the subject in which I am qualified. Therefore I found this course very valuable in providing ideas for teaching art history and art criticism in ways that students would find accessible and interesting.

Exceptionally presented. Lots of character, insight, passion and clarity. The content was not as such well-organised but did all come together on the course being taught.

Excellent unpacking of how to use material practice investigations and usage into Senior students' understanding of practice, history and material practice. The employment of actions and choices within the frames was a very useful tool to implement in my classroom.

I have found the course helpful and informative. I have learned how to write programs focusing on outcomes and scope and sequence. I have also found the previous participants' sample work invaluable. Teachers can never have enough program ideas. Our facilitator was encouraging and always prompt with her feedback.

There is a lot of information to be gained through this course and some good new ideas about how to approach theory within your classroom. It was great to look at a wide variety of artists and apply them to the curriculum.
